About Blackberry Farm
Blackberry farm is a family run business. The farm supports a small herd of commercial beef cattle and a mixed flock of sheep which include Romneys, Texels and Cheviots. Lizzy has a passion for horses and in her spare time can be found riding on the local beach or driving her Friesian horse. Mike shows his commercial beef cattle and has won many great accolades including the Queen Mothers cup at Smithfield. He spends much of his free time restoring vintage tractors. Their daughter Kaya is currently studying but is an excellent cake baker and enjoys experimenting with dairy free sweet treats.
Food miles are very important to us and the food sold in our shop or served in our tearoom is either grown on the farm or sourced locally where possible. We sell our own award winning beef and lamb as well as local pork, free range chicken, duck & wild game. We make our own sausages & burgers and use our homegrown and locally sourced ingredients in all our cooking.
In our farm kitchen we freshly bake our own sausage rolls, scotch eggs, ready meals, pies and pasties. We serve these along with our homemade soups, cakes & scones in our tearoom.

Join Lizzy on a farm tour
We have many animals you can meet at Blackberry Farm. There are lambs in springtime who just want to be friends, miniature Shetlands and a big gypsy cob who’s just a softy at heart.
You will meet the farm animals before taking a leisurely 1⁄2 mile stroll
across fields & around the village including a visit to the ancient church. There is an opportunity afterwards to visit the farm shop & tea rooms.
Our resident pigs will keep you amused and our lovely goats are sure to appeal. We have cows and calves with big personalities and rabbits who pretend to be shy. At the end of the day our very own free range chickens, ducks and geese will lay happy eggs for you to take home.
Between June and October you will meet the farm animals before taking a guided tour of Blackberry farm. On your return you will be served with a hot homemade beef or vegetarian pasty & a glass of locally produced cider or apple juice.
Weather dependent. Wellies recommended.
